Forrest (CEO at Lifecast) has a Ph.D. in machine learning and over 20 patents in VR video and AI perception systems. He previously developed computer-vision based VR video rendering software at Facebook, and was a tech lead at Lyft and Google X working on perception systems for self-driving cars and robots.

I'm an experienced engineer with a thorough understanding of software all the way down to hardware. I've started my career working in P2P distributed systems, helped write parts of the Opera web browser, worked on the Digg website and then spent 7 years at Facebook after which I got some experience on Wall St writing various parts of the trading software, including execution and market data feeds. I'm back in the Bay Area working on Lifecast.
